Solano & Catalán Arquitectos is an architecture and urban planning practice with over fifty years of experience. Our work spans a range of scales and building types, with particular expertise in collective housing and its role in shaping the city.

We approach each project through a close understanding of its setting, brief and the ways in which spaces will be used. Spatial quality, technical feasibility and the responsible use of resources inform our design decisions from the outset.

Our multidisciplinary team brings architecture, urban planning and construction together in a coordinated process. From the organization of the program to the choice of construction methods and the resolution of details, we develop a coherent architectural response to the ambitions and practical requirements of each commission.

With experience across Spain and other European countries, we work in diverse contexts and address evolving housing and urban challenges. We build on this experience by continually exploring how we live and how we build, creating buildings and places that remain useful, adaptable and architecturally relevant over time.
